The Wear Report: 2025

The Wear Report: 2025

The best clothes are the ones you reach for again and again. As I look back on the past year, it’s clear that my style settled into a clear rhythm. I found myself leaning heavily into a rotation of: textures, earthy neutrals, and elevated basics. Here is a breakdown of how I styled my most-loved pieces of 2025, and definitely making appearances in my 2026 wardrobe, too.

Key Themes & Styling Elements

  • Textures: contrast, mixing structured pieces (plaid jackets, pleated skirts) with soft, cozy elements (knits, linen-style dresses).

  • Warm, Soft Neutrals: A foundational palette of creams, tans, browns, and dark blues.

  • Punchy Accessories: structured shoulder bags, woven/basket-style bags, and footwear like Mary Janes, loafers, and clean-lined sneakers.

  • Silhouettes: balance between voluminous pieces (wide-leg trousers, long dresses) and more fitted, structured tops.
